Once we get him in condition I plan on sending him out for driving training.

Uwharrie Farm's Squirrel Nut Zipper

Our first mini

We found "Zip" as a cute fuzzy guy listed in the local shopper. He had not been handled much and was extremely hairy. All that hair was hiding a nasty abscess on his side which  made us decide to attempt to clip him down and be sure there were no other surprises under all that hair.

Zip after clipping

Well we did have a surprise under all that hair. A very handsome 8 month old colt! Currently he stands 27 inches and should mature under 31. We plan on gelding him, hardship registering him in World Class and showing. We still have considerable clipping and trimming to do.

Sandy's Swinging Suzie Q
"Suzie"

2007 AMMH/ WC golden sorrel filly

Zip needed a friend so we found this yearling filly to keep him company. Suzie is currently 31 inches tall. We still need to do some more clipping but we think she is lovely!.

Here all four are enjoying time out in the pasture. Romeo and Dreamie will now be on Atkins for horses so no more pasture till some of the weight comes off.
